David Beckham -an over-the-hill, overrated, footballer who can't even make the England squad anymore. He is retreating to Major League Soccer (Major being a misnomer) because he can't even find a place on the starting rota of Real Madrid. He should do well in America though. With a lower standard of player he will probably look pretty good. He says its not about the money -right!
As bad as he is as a player for that amount of money they at least should suit up Posh.
Didn't Pele revitalize a MLS league for a little bit? Perhaps Beckham will do the same? Dad you sound bitter that he's leaving...
He'd already left. When he went to Real Madrid I kind of lost interest. Now that he is no longer Captain of England and can't even get picked for the squad he has become even more inconsequential. I'll be glad to be his agent though.
Hey, everyone just settle down for a minute. Beckham is awesome and will continue to be awesome. Just think Ron, he will be representing all of England now and may just make you all look really good. Go Galaxy.b
Beckham was awesome. . .(past tense) He probably couldn't even start for the Bath Romans anymore. But, he will look good playing in the minor leagues. He's kind of like Babe Ruth after his career ended and he went out on the road and had home run hitting contests at county fairs. I hear Posh has got an offer from Playboy. She'll probably take it since they'll be hurting for money.
