Burrito Grande

Andrew's lifelong mission is to find the world's biggest burrito. Note that I said biggest, not best. At restaurants, "What's the biggest burrito you have?" Word of mouth took us to Fiesta Cancun about 25 minutes away (top burrito). He stumbled on the Fajita Burrito at our favorite restaurant (lower burrito), that one was fabulous....fajita grilled chicken with lots of peppers and onions. Note the lack of smiles....wisdom teeth have been really bothering him lately while eating. Should have his appointment for removal scheduled in the next week or so....

Guess the plants!

I'm going to open up this contest to anyone, but my thought is that Mom is going to be the number one contestant. We have a couple plants that we'd like to know what they are since we planted them....honestly we can't remember at all. First picture...it's the big guy in the center, behind the lamb's ear, in front of the blue sea holly. I am really hoping it's not a giant weed. Second picture.....there are three of these guys, they are viney, I remember planting them last summer. From Michigan Bulb Company....other then that...no idea. Third pic is while I was watering our zucchini. The dog thinks he is soooo cool. Almost every night he does this. We know he's not thirsty.....just likes to show off I think.

Canoing

Yes, we took the dog. No, he didn't jump overboard. The weather was absolutely perfect. Canoed the Galena River this time, only about two hours, but probably a good thing. Our "canoe" muscles were pretty sore the next day! And Galena on a Sunday is not usually our thing, but we did tolerate it for some Snickers Crunch and a fresh squeezed lemonade from Abby's favorite place. Yum! We were going to camp on Sunday night after canoing but opted for a campfire in the backyard fire pit instead. We made pizzas pockets in the pie irons and our new favorite s'mores (graham crackers, toasted marshmallows, and a slightly melted Reese's Peanut Butter Cup) Double Yum!!
