Back from Field Work

About 30 of my photos were accidentally deleted due to reformatting the memory card of a new camera. Here are a few from later in the week...

Catch Up

Okay, it's field work time again and I'll be out in the wilderness for about a week. I promise I'll catch up once I'm back. Stay tuned....

18, 16, 14, 12, & 10 weeks pregnant

Well, I wasn't going to post these onto the internet, but due to demand from the masses, here they are. We are taking a photo every two weeks, same location, same day of the week/time of day, etc. Since we are both home together every Sunday morning that has been the default day & time. Andy takes the photo before I've eaten in the a.m. (excuse my drowsy appearance) since my belly bloats out after a meal. I do have some photos to prove it, but that is enough belly for now...

Madison

Mom was in town for a visit and the three of us took a trip to Madison Saturday night before she left. The main purpose of the trip was to visit Babies R Us to look at all the gear and start a registry. I did manage to surprise Andy (and Mom) with a trip to the Melting Pot too for some awesome fondue! Neither of them had been there before and we all really enjoyed dinner!

Flutters

I've felt the baby move for the first time the last few days. It was so subtle, but yet definitely the baby, it was a very new feeling. Every time I've felt him/her I was laying on my stomach before I fell asleep. Perhaps the baby was saying, "Get off of me!" It almost felt like a butterfly in my lower belly. I can't wait until I feel it more and I know Andrew really wants in on the kicking too!

First trip with the Garmin (June 26th)

Andy got me a Garmin for my birthday. It is probably the coolest toy I have gotten in a loooong time, I absolutely love it. After a few short trips around town I really broke it in with a work trip to Des Moines. Poor Garmin, for those of you not familar with our house to Des Moines look it up. I bet Garmin was so bored, all she had to do was tell me to drive west for like 200 miles, a straight, boring trip. Hopefully we'll go somewhere with a bit more exciting drive soon.

Heat Wave (June 26th)

It has been unbelievably hot here, like 90s with a heat index in the low 100s. Just miserable, it made me not want to even walk outside. We did find a few cool things to do: made a fruit pizza, some homemade ice cream, and took a soak in the kiddie pool outside.
