Today was baby shower day - Kelly did an awesome job and hosted a really nice baby shower for us today. Many thanks to her for all the planning as well as to those who helped with food and to Lara, Amy, Clare, and Verna for other "shower" tasks. The last photo shows the craft that Verna coordinated. She is making cloth baby blocks out of fabric (see the top right corner of photo for some finished blocks) and she had everyone decorate squares of fabric that will be used to make more blocks. Lots of guests told me what a great idea it was and I can't wait to see the finished blocks - no pressure Verna, I know the baby won't be able to play with blocks for quite some time! All in all, it was a really nice time and baby Cletus is quite lucky to have so many friends and family that love him/her already!
